3D Model
Using a 3D modeling program, a creator can make anything from environments to various objects, such as furniture, clothing and accessories. All items in NuVO have a base 3D model which you see when you are in the client. If it can be textured (painted) it is a 3d model.

Client
The NuVO client is an application you download to your computer that allows you to talk with other NuVO users, visit public locations, view your avatar and make changes to it (such as clothing, hair and more), manage your own personal environments by adding furnishings and much more. All items made purchasable in the NuVO Catalogue can be used in the Client.

Creator
Someone who uses a 3D modeling program to create 3D models to upload through the NuVO editor, generating products for the catalogue.

Developer
A NuVO user who creates product for the NuVera Online catalogue for other people and/or their own use.

Editor
This is the program a Developer uses to import, edit and upload products to the online catalog.

Inheritable
Inheriting is a term in NuVO meaning that a painter can inherit the ability to retexture a 3D model that a creator posted to the catalogue in the NuVO editor. Not all models will be set inheritable but those that are can have the textures changed by a painter.

Output Log
Whenever you have an issue with either the NuVO client or the NuVO editor we will request you send in your Output Log. This is located in the folder where you placed the NuVera Online client or editor. Open that folder, then open the folder marked NuVera Online_Data and a file will be in there called output_log.txt. Email this file to us at nuveraonline@gmail.com and give a brief explanation of the issue you are having.

Painter
In NuVO the painter is a developer who can change the textures (patterns/colours) on products in the catalogue that are inheritable.

Risque
Products that do not cover the avatar genitalia, female nipples or have sexual themes are considered Risque.
